If you are concerned about:  

  1. Catalyst cycle length / Conversion / Slops make / Throughput / Shutdown time ? 
  2. Do you suspect a feed maldistribution in your reactor? For example, are your radial dT’s  in the bottom of the beds > 3 degC at either SOR or EOR, is you catalyst coked and/or is your Quench response abnormal?
  3. Do you experience a rise in reactor bed pressure drop during the cycle and does this shorten you catalyst life? When opening up, do you observe dirt or is the catalyst agglomerated?
  4. Does your unit suffer elsewhere from fouling or corrosion?
